Student Academic Career Plan and Traditional Diploma Plus Endorsement Options Information
Beginning your child's seventh grade year, all seventh grade students are required to have an Individual Success Plan(Academic Career Plan) and select an Endorsement Option prior to exiting the seventh grade. The Academic Career Plan is a process, NOT a document. It is a five-year career exploration plan that students will revisit and revise every school year (7-12 grade) with parent signature/approval.
In Madison County School District, students work on their Academic Career Plan using the web-based program, Major Clarity, through their Clever account. Major Clarity is designed to assist you and your child in their college and career planning, and your child will select their Traditional Diploma Endorsement Option through this web-based program as well. This Academic Career Plan will grow and change with your child now through high school. This will help prepare your child to be successful after graduation, whether that be in college, the workforce, or a career and technical training program.
